Pork Adobo






Pork adobo is a Filipino Dish served with rice. (Vinegar is used ro preserve the food for longer storage for at least 2 weeks.



Ingredients
  • 2 pounds pork belly, cut into 2-inch cubes
  • 1 medium onion, peeled and sliced thinly
  • 1 head garlic, peeled and minced
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ teaspoon pepper

Procedure: 

  1. Place cut pork on the wok, minced garlic, crushed black pepper, laurel leaves, soy sauce, a dash of salt, vinegar, brown sugar, mix well using bare hands (massaging pork) to blend all ingredients.
  2. Bring to boil uncovered..
  3. when it starts to boil, let it stand simmering for several minutes ( to let vinegar evaporate its acid) before u mix using a wooden laddle.
  4. Then cover and simmer until pork is cooked constant mixing is neccessary to create better sauce.
  5. Once everything is cooked..continue to mix until oil extract is out. And its done. Good for 7 to 8 servings.








How To Make:
