Fried Chicken Neck












Chicken neck is usually eaten in the Philippines. Fried chicken neck is usually eaten during a drinking spree or simply a viand.



Ingredients
  • 1/4 chicken neck
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 quarts vegetable oil for frying


Procedure

  1.  clean chicken neck and drain to dry ( set aside)
  2.  Prepare the chicken coating by mixing flour or cormstarch in the bowl, 1 egg, salt and pepper.. mix well untill it becomes sticky texture .
  3. put the chicken neck in the batter for few minutes while heating the wok with oil.
  4.  fry the chicken neck until golden brown. Crispy and juicy.

    Good for 2 to 3 servings
