Chicken neck is usually eaten in the Philippines. Fried chicken neck is usually eaten during a drinking spree or simply a viand.
Ingredients
- 1/4 chicken neck
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 quarts vegetable oil for frying
Procedure
- clean chicken neck and drain to dry ( set aside)
- Prepare the chicken coating by mixing flour or cormstarch in the bowl, 1 egg, salt and pepper.. mix well untill it becomes sticky texture .
- put the chicken neck in the batter for few minutes while heating the wok with oil.
- fry the chicken neck until golden brown. Crispy and juicy.
Good for 2 to 3 servings
